Oxford Speakers, 50 Years of History

The club was first called Oxford Toastmasters Club. It received its charter (Charter 3297) in 1961 at the Randolph Hotel, Oxford in the presence of the Mayor of Oxford, Alderman Lionel Harrison and the Toastmasters County Area Governor, Wyn Roberts.

One of the oldest Toastmaster clubs in England. Read the rich history of Oxford Speakers club since it started 50 years ago!

Sue Munro the new area governor (replacing Martyn Howden) will be visiting OSC on Tuesday 25'th of October.

Meeting 28th June 2011

Oxford speakers club meetings.  2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month.

We meet twice a month, typically bringing in 15-20 people each time (visit us at our next meeting). If this is your first time, you will be greeted by our Sergeant-at-Arms and welcomed by the other club members.

You can choose to speak, or you can just watch and enjoy
the performances. The meetings last about 2 hours (7.00-9.30pm).
